" is typisch een gevel uit 1671, die jammer genoeg door de cementeerwoede van de 19e eeuw is bedorven. Met zijn gevellijst opgetrokken pilasters is het een voor die tijd zeldzame gevel. Wanneer de cementlaag verwijderd zou worden zou waarschijnlijk een natuurstenen gevel tevoorschijn komen zoals er in Dordrecht doch waarschijnlijk ook elders niet meer voorkomt. Het zou een welkome aanvulling en tussenschakel zijn in onze serie Dordtse hardstenen gevels, die uniek voor het gehele land is". Bovenstaande was bekend toen dit pand gesloopt werd. Jammer, dat zulke unieke panden in de oudste stad van Holland en dan ook nog aan het Bagijnhof verloren zijn gegaan.
Martinus Barendrecht bouwde en vestigde hier zijn EMBA. Hij had al eerder een zaak in de Vriesestraat op nummer 98 (later 120?). Afbeelding 556_3018 is dan ook niet in de Visstraat gemaakt (was er ooit een EMBA in de Visstraat?) maar op het Bagijnhof 34 (32). Het laat zich raden hoe de naam EMBA tot stand is gekomen.
